121 Ukrainian citizens – both military and civilians, are now remaining in captivity of pro-Kremlin mercenaries in Donbas. Iryna Gerashchenko, Ukraine’s representative in the humanitarian subgroup of Minsk talks group said this at the session of Ukraine-NATO council on April 5.

‘Unfortunately, the number of captives grows. Over the last month, we’ve got a word about another dozen of people illegally held in the territories that aren’t under Ukraine’s control for now. These are both military men and civilians,’ she said.

As of March 2017, the official number of Ukrainian citizens who went missing in Donbas reached 418.
