Since the morning of October 30, Russian armed mercenaries have shelled Ukrainian outposts in Donbas 21 times. The HQ of the Joint Forces Operation reproted this on Facebook on Wednesday morning.
On six occasions, militants opened fire from Minsk-banned weapons six times. 120 mm mines hit Luhanske; 82 mm mortars were used during the attacks on Avdiivka, Pisky, Lomakyne and Luhanske.
The enemy used IFVs, grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns and small arms. Skirmishes were observed in Luhanske, Verkhnyotoretske, Avdiivka, Pisky, Optyne, Mariinka, Krasnohorivka, Pavlopol, Hnutove, Lomakyno, Vodyane and Lebedynske.
Two Ukrainian servicemen were wounded in action.
Earlier, Volodymyr Yelchenko, the country's permanent envoy in the UN stated that the illegal election in the occupied Donbas may become the starting point of the new armed Russian aggression in Ukraine. The agenda of the Council's session was focused on the ongoing aggression in eastern Ukraine. As the discussion was in progress, Yelchenko said that 'there are signs that the these so-called 'elections' could become the starting point for the new sequence of the armed aggression'.
