120 captured Ukrainians stay in the Russian Federation and occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions as Ukrainian News reported citing Natalia Zaretska, the Presidential Commissioner on Rehabilitation of Combatants.
“We have about 120 people, both civilians and military, who stay in the places of the involuntary isolation in the territory of the Russian Federation and occupied territories of Donbas,” Zaretska reported.
According to her, the holding of the March in the support of captured Ukrainian on June 1 in Kyiv is a very positive sign for the release of the prisoners.
Zaretska noted that the psychological pressure on the families of the prisoners and publicity on this issue is a great problem.
As we reported, the militants of the so-called “Luhansk People’s Republic” (LNR) passed 60 prisoners to Ukraine. The passage took place in Shchastya, Luhansk region.
