Over the past 24 hours, the militants opened fire 11 times at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Donbas. One Ukrainian soldier sustained minor injuries, as the Joint Forces Operation HQ reported on Facebook.
“The occupant opened fire 11 times. Russian occupation troops continue using Minsk-banned weapons… As a result, one Ukrainian soldier was slightly injured,” the message says.
At the same time it was specified that illegal armed formations shot at the Ukrainian positions near Krymske, Novozvanivka, Novoluhanske, Avdiivka, Slavne, Krasnohorivka, Pavlopil, Hnutove and Shyrokyne.
“Russian occupation troops were conducting adjusted fire from grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. Besides, yesterday evening, the enemy shot at JFO positions near Hnutove from 82mm. Ukrainian defence work near Krymske came under fire from rocket-propelled grenades twice, and near Novozvanivka – from heavy machine guns and SPG-9 three times,” the headquarters reads.
Today, according to the Ukrainian military, the enemy performed no attacks.
