USAID to assign USD 14 mln to implement digital state procurement system in Ukraine

According to George Kent, Deputy Head of the Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv, the USAID plans to allocate extra funds to implement digital management practices in Ukraine, including ProZorro, the system of digital state procurement. ‘In autumn this year, the USAID will start the program called ‘Transparency and Responsibility in State Management and Procurement System’. The 14-million-dollar worth program will improve the process of digital management in Ukraine’s government’, he said.

According to the diplomat, Washington will even more expand the support of digital state management in Ukraine. The costs will go to develop respective technologies, holding trainings and promotion of ProZorro system at the nationwide level.
