Ukrainian Prime Minister Yatsenyuk met with Israeli Immigrant Absorption Minister and Minister of Jerusalem Affairs Zeev Elkin. The sides have discussed the issues of bilateral political, economic and humanitarian cooperation, as well as security environment in eastern Ukraine and the Middle East, according to the press office of Ukrainian Cabinet. 

Yatsenyuk said that Ukraine is interested in strengthening dialogue with Israel. This goal will be subject to measures of the Ukrainian government to intensify negotiations process on a bilateral agreement on free trade area (FTA), according to a statement. Ukraine is also interested in further development of humanitarian cooperation and cooperation in the security sphere. The Prime Minister confirmed the intention to intensify the political dialogue between the two countries at the highest level. 

The next meeting of Ukrainian-Israeli committee on FTA might take place in November.
