Czech Development Agency will assign EUR 800 thousand for the period till 2016, said the Ministry of Education and Science. According to the Agency’s Director Michal Kaplan, the Czech Republic supports Ukraine’s wish for democratic changes and chose education area as an important direction in the interstate cooperation.
Ukraine’s First Deputy Education Minister Inna Sovsun said there are three directions of cooperation with the Czech side. “The first one would be the support of Czech experts of our decisions in the education policy. The second one is cooperation between Ukrainian and Czech universities. The Czech side will develop and implement remote education programs for Ukraine’s educational institutions”, she said. According to the Education Ministry, the third direction of cooperation is material and technical support for the educational institutions based in eastern Ukraine and Crimea that lost all of their facilities during the military conflict with Russia.
