The Ukrainian government allocated 43 thousand hryvnas (1.7 billion U.S. dollars) to purchase police cars for the servicemen stationed in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, Avakov tweeted after the government session in Kyiv on Wednesday.
Previously, during his working visit to Donetsk region, President Petro Poroshenko arrived to Kramatorsk, the city which was once controlled by Russia-backed militants, and handed over 60 ambulances for the needs of Donetsk region. Poroshenko also announced that the patrol police will start working in Kramatorsk on May 14.
