The decision for giving the next installment of its $17.5 billion bailout was made after passing required laws and progressing on a debt restructuring with creditors, according to Blomberg. It is expected that July 31 an official decision on getting $ 1.7 bln aid installment will be declared.
"Ukraine is likely to win formal approval for the $ 1.7 billion disbursement as soon as July 31, when the International Monetary Fund's executive board is scheduled to meet on the issue, said the person, who is familiar with IMF discussions and asked not to be identified because the talks are not public", said Bloomberg.
Yesterday Ukrainian Ministry of Finance paid the $120 mln coupon on Eurobonds, meeting all previous IMF criteria.
