When the third son of the deceased Kim Jong-il, a pleasant, smiling and little-known 29-year-old Kim Jong-un suddenly and unexpectedly for all became the head of the DPRK at the end of 2011, most experts predicted him the fate of Gorbachev. It was believed that this young man educated in Switzerland would not follow in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, but would stretch his hands to the West and open the country for the world. People considered that complete disintegration of the regime and the cessation of the DPRK nuclear program could take a maximum of 2-3 years.

There were, however, more gloomy predictions. It was assumed that the old authority, led by uncle of young leader, Chang Sung-taek, will quickly stab the diabetic Kim Jong-un in the back and continue the old course.

Nobody of them predicted the situation right. Contrary to all expectations, Kim Jong-un is a tough nut to crack.

To begin with, he executed his uncle Chang Sung-taek (and a dozen other party functionaries with a smaller rank), and then a graduate of the international school in Berne began to force nuclear and missile programs.

According to experts, since 2012, Kim Jong Un has done almost impossible things, and to date there are up to 30 atomic bombs in the arsenal of the DPRK. During the reign of Kim Jong-un, North Korea carried out 80 missile tests, ranging from short-range missiles to the test of an intercontinental ballistic missile this summer. Back in 2012, new leader put into orbit a small satellite and introduced the country into the honorary club of space powers.

Instead of stretching the hands to the West, a young fan of the Manchester United football club in 5 years created powerful missile forces, capable of bringing nuclear warheads to a distance of up to 2,000 km, and reaching Guam, where the largest American strategic military base is located. Not to mention Tokyo and Seoul. And all this in conditions of almost complete international isolation.

Experts unanimously assert that if the grandson of the founder of dynasty is not stopped, then in 5-7 years, North Korean missiles can reach the coast of America and another 48 US allies.

Despite all the threats that are pouring onto Kim Jong-un's head from the US, despite the fact that the options for physical destruction by a massive missile strike are being developed against him, Kim Jong-un, with the perseverance of a fanatic, continues to conduct nuclear and missile tests, squeezing the impossible from the country's economy and demonstrating phenomenal scientific and technological achievements. This is not an agrarian superpower, with the export of honey, berries and mushrooms!

So who is he, Kim Jong-un? Is he crazy or ingenious manager?

Whoever he is, he has no more than 3-4 years. It is no longer possible for the United States to admit further development of the nuclear missile program of the DPRK. On Saturday, the UN Security Council voted for a complete ban on the export of coal, iron and lead ores, seafood from the DPRK, practically tightening the knot on country’s economy. Against the DPRK voted even China and Russia, which were habitually loyal to it. They voted because otherwise they risked receiving secondary sanctions from the US as the countries supporting North Korean nuclear program.

Russia and China are not yet ready to openly oppose the US and succumbed to its pressure. But will Kim Jong-un concede?

The sanction measures have already exhausted themselves, there is nothing more to limit, therefore, if Kim Jong-un continues to conduct nuclear missile tests, the next step will be a military blockade and ... a war. And this will be the first nuclear war in the history of mankind. Once it had to happen. It seems that both sides are already fully prepared for it.

Here is such a harmless looking grandson, and an American NBA league fan, as people claim. This is an answer to the question of the role of individual in history.
