Human rights are woman rigts
On the International Women's Day, which is celebrated annually in the world on March 8, a women's march took place in the center of Kyiv. Its slogan was "Enough to tolerate". The route of the column of several hundred participants ran from Mykhailivska Square to the building of the Kyiv City State Administration on Khreshchatyk.
Anyone could take part in the event, regardless of gender or any other signs. Among the most popular slogans carried by participants of the march was the phrase "I'm not your dear" - flash mob under such a hashtag began in Ukrainian social networks after President Petro Poroshenko turned to one of the journalists with the word "dear". During the action, participants spoke for the ratification of the Istanbul Convention on the Prevention of Violence Against Women and against discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation.
There were some provocations. The march was accompanied by men who appeared to be nationalists. They made several attempts to attack the convoy, including several times spraying a tear gas in the crowd and pouring activists with paint.
Nevertheless, the march was held. Organizers have already called it successful. And everyone was invited to a rave party, which was played by the DJs of Kyiv, mainly by the beginners.
Grandma endured, mom endured, I wouldn't endure
Human rights above all
Women's rights are human rigts
I'm not beauty, inspiration, incubator. I'm a human
I'm not your dear
Kitchen and fashion - it's not freedom
No future without equality
God it's she
You turned 30, and you still don't have a cat?
