Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food - Taras Kutovyi

Kutovyi was born in a family of teachers in Kyiv. In 1992, he graduated from the Physics and Mathematics of Kyiv lyceum №145. In 1997, he graduated (cum laude) from the National Academy of Security Service of Ukraine, and from Kyiv National Economic University in 1998. In 2002, he received a full third degree in International Management Institute.

In 1998-1999, Kutovyi has been deputy chief auditor of the projects and programs of the regional offices of the International Fund "Revival." In 1999-2004, he worked as the financial director of All-Ukrainian Foundation "Step by Step." In 2004, he became a member of the Board of the Foundation, whose mission was implementation of projects aimed at ensuring equal access to quality education for all children, including children with special needs.

In 2004-2009, he has been the financial director of CJSC "Investment company XXI Century." In 2010-2011, he served as President of the "Rise of the Company." Then he became Managing Director of "A1 Global Holdings Limited."

Kutovyi comes from “Udar” party. October 28, 2012 he was elected people's deputy of Ukraine of single-mandate district №151 in Poltava region. In the Parliament he was the first deputy chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations.

He was re-elected to the parliament in 2014 in the same district (from BPP). He went into the Committee on Agrarian Policy issues. Kutovyi is coordinating conventional cell of Udar and BPP. Thus, his candidature in the Cabinet - it's quota of the former "udarovtsev" in the president's party. Some media associated Kutovyi with Partskhaladze, who heads BPP cell in the Kyiv region. Kutovyi has previously worked for the company of Partskhaladze.

Minister of Culture - Yevhen Nishchuk

It seems that the actor Yevhen Nishchuk was interrupted and taken into the Cabinet. Nishchuk himself admitted that he learned about reviewing his candidature only on the 12th of April. As reported by some media, Greusman stated that he personally would like to see Nishchuk  in the Ministry of Culture, as he did not want to mess with imperceptible in the "cultural" environment of Kyrylenko.

Yevhen Nishchuk was born in Ivano-Frankivsk. In 1995, he graduated from the Kyiv Theatrical Institute named after Karpenko-Kary. Actor of Kyiv Academic Theatre Arts Workshop "Constellation".

During the Orange Revolution, he was called "the voice of the Maidan," because he was the mouthpiece of the Orange Maidan. He also became the moderator on stage of the Euromaidan in 2013, where he was invited by Yuriy Lutsenko. According to Yevhen, since 2004 to 2013 he did not participate in the meetings.

First time in politics he appeared in 2007 at the early parliamentary elections from the block "Our Ukraine - People's Self-Defense."

After Euromaidan Yevhen Nishchuk entered the government of Arseniy Yatsenyuk. Since February 27 to December 2, 2014 he has been the Minister of Culture. He became known for banning several Russian films in Ukraine and compiling a list of persona non grata Russian artists, who are denied entry to Ukraine.

However, when few days ago the media asked Yevhen Nishchuk whether he will continue the policy of prohibition if he becomes a minister, he said ... "Of course, no. The humanitarian department of the Ministry of Culture agency must not be engaged in prohibitions and "colored "lists."

Youth and Sports Minister - Ihor Zhdanov

Ihor Zhdanov was born in Vinnytsia. In 1992, he graduated from the historical faculty of Kyiv State University named after Shevchenko. In 1994, he graduated from the law faculty of Kyiv National University named after Shevchenko, in 1996 - Thames Valley Courses (United Kingdom).

After serving in the army, Zhdanov notes that he became representative of the presidential candidate of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma in 1994. In 1994-1995, he worked in the legal department of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine and a group of assistants to President Kuchma. In 1997-1999 he has been a member of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (Deputy Assistant Secretary). In 1995-1997 and 1999-2005 he has been director of political and legal programs of the Ukrainian Center for Economic and Political Studies name after Razumkov.

In 2004, he became a leading analyst of the election headquarters of presidential candidate Viktor Yushchenko. In 2005-2007 he has been the first deputy head of the central executive committee of the party "People's Union "Our Ukraine," a member of the political council of the party. In the parliamentary elections of 2006 and 2007 he was part of the leadership of the central blocs of "Our Ukraine - People's Self-Defense."

Zhdanov has repeatedly called himself one of the authors of the Yushchenko's election program "Ten steps towards people" and "the author of Yushchenko’s election strategy."

Since May 2008, he is the President of the Analytical Center "Open Policy." In 2014, he became a member of Parliament from the party "Fatherland." In December 2014, "Fatherland" has delegated Zhdanov to the Cabinet. At the beginning of 2016 there was a political crisis, the party decided to withdraw its minister, but he refused to resign. Because of this, Zhdanov was expelled from the party. Media reported that he went to the team of Yatsenyuk.

Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources – Ostap Semerak


Semerak is a citizen of Lviv. In 1994, he graduated from Lviv State University named after Ivan Franko (physics). In 1998, he graduated from National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (political science).

In 1989-1994, he actively participated in the student movement. Member of the fraternity of the Lviv University. In 1990, he was a member of the student hunger strike on Independence Square in Kyiv.

In 1992-1995, he has been the co-founder and deputy chairman of the fraternity of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. Then he was the coordinator of the program "School of young politician" Ukrainian Fund support for reform. Since 1996 he was the President of the Foundation for Promotion of political and legal culture.

Since 1998, he has been the head of the secretariat of the parliamentary faction of the Party "Reforms and Order (at the time the leader was Viktor Pynzenyk) - Congress Reform" Since 2002 he has been the Chief of Staff, the head of the secretariat of the faction "Our Ukraine" in the Verkhovna Rada. Since November 2003hdanov has been the Head of the Executive Committee of the Party "Reforms and Order", then - the head of the secretariat of the parliamentary fraction of the “Reforms and Order.”

Since August 2006 to November 2007, he was the deputy head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration.

The period of 2007-2012, Zhdanov has been the People’s Deputy of Ukraine of VI convocation from the "Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko" (№140 in the electoral list), the Member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on the Budget. At the same time, he was the head of the executive committee of the party "Reforms and Order." In autumn 2012, he ran to the Verkhovna Rada of the VII convocation of the party "Fatherland", but his place in the list (№76) proved impassable.

In February 2014, Arseniy Yatsenyuk appointed Semerak Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers in his first government. In the autumn of 2014, he came back to the Verkhovna Rada from the "People’s Front" party (№33 electoral list, member of the party).

Yatsenyuk insisted on his candidature into the Cabinet.

Minister of information policy - Yuriy Stets

Yuri Stets will continue to head the most controversial ministry. He was born in the Ternopil region. In 1996 he graduated from Chernihiv College of Arts (head of folklore ensemble, the organizer of cultural and leisure activities). In 2009 graduated from Kharkov State Polytechnic University (Information Systems Manager). In 2011, he became "manager of foreign economic activity."

In 1990-1991, he has been working as a reporter of the Chernivtsi Regional State TV and Radio Company, and later was editor of the TV channel ICTV offices in Chernivtsi, a senior editor of the TV channel TVA, editor of music programs. In 2000, he became deputy director of "TV and Radio Company NBM," which later became the "5 channel." Stets became the general producer and member of the Supervisory Board of "5 channel."

In 2007-2012 he has been the deputy of Ukraine of the VII convocation of the bloc "Our Ukraine - People's Self-Defense." Since December 2012 he has been the deputy of Ukraine of the VII convocation from "Fatherland".

Stets is an honored Journalist of Ukraine. His wife runs a political observer in the "5 channel". Stets considered close associate of the president. At the same time, Yuriy Stets previously stated that he would resign before the end of 2015, because he believed his mission on this post was accomplished. He has initiated the broadening of public service broadcasting on television and on the Internet in order to counter Russian propaganda.

The Minister of Health – Unassigned

Oddly enough, but candidacy for the head of the Ministry of Health was not found. There were a lot of candidates, but the parties failed to reach an agreement. They said that the Minister will be Maksym Nefedov, but he refused. State Director of "National Institute of Surgery and Transplantation named after Shalimov" Oleksandr Usenko refused. Among the candidates are the people's deputy Konstantyn Yarynych representative of the pharmaceutical lobby of Glib Zagora, the current Deputy Minister of Health Victor Shafransky, Deputy Roman Ilyk and Director of Heart Institute Boyis Todurov. However, it is possible that the new minister will be someone else.

Cabinet Minister - Oleksander Saienko

Saienko is from Kyiv; he is enough young officer (born in 1984). In 2006 he graduated from the National Academy of State Tax Service, Jurisprudence. Participated in Leadership Development Program in the Canadian public service school and the creative leadership of the US Center.

In his career, he replaced a dozen posts, nowhere did not linger long. In the first half of 2004, he worked in the Office of Labor and Social Protection of the Shevchenko district of Kyiv. Then he joined the Ministry of Economy, in the management of legal support of fiscal policy. In 2005, he worked as the head of the International Cooperation Center of assistance to institutional development of the public service of the Main Department of Civil Service of Ukraine. Then he was a senior state tax inspector of organizational and administrative management in Kyiv region. In March 2014, Saienko registered in the Desnyanskiy district employment center in Kyiv.

We do not know where Saenko met with Greusman. However, when he came to work in the Cabinet, Saienko was appointed his adviser. After the elections in October 2014, Saienko became assistant of MP, and in March 2015 he headed the secretariat of the Speaker of Parliament.
