Vladyslav Kaskiv released on bail in Panama

Vladyslav Kaskiv, former Head of State Agency for Investment and National Projects of Ukraine, posted the bond of 600 thousand dollars and was released on bail. This was announced by the Deputy Head of the General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine Yevhen Yenin on his Facebook page. According to him, Kaskiv was released on September 30. He is obliged to check in at the police station twice a week, and his movement shall be curtailed by Panama city boundaries.

As it was reported, Kaskiv was detained in Panama overnight into September 8. Later it became known that he applied for a political asylum in Panama.

Former Head of State Agency for Investment and National Projects of Ukraine was put on the wanted list on March 2016 on suspicion of embezzling of 290 000 dollars. According to Internal Affairs Ministry, the Agency withdrew almost 10 billion dollars abroad under Kaskiv management.
