19:01, 30 December 2016

Russia is to close the English-speaking school for children of the American, Canadian and British embassies in Moscow. CNN reported that, citing the source in the US administration. These are the first steps of the Kremlin in response to the new Washington sanctions against the Russian Federation. Russia is blamed for the cyber attacks, in its turn Russia will voice their counter-measures today. The US deported 35 Russian diplomats the day before. They have 72 hours to leave the country.

The diplomatic missions in Merryland and New York will be closed. Another nine FSB, Main Intelligence Directorate and external intelligence employees have to leave the country. All of them supported cyber attacks against the American governmental institutions during the presidential elections. Meanwhile the President-elect Donald Trump evades a question whether his administration will go on tightening sanctions against Russia. He will meet the heads of the special services to discuss that.
