Cabinet of Ministers has appointed Vadym Troyan as the deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. This was reported to the journalists by Oleksandr Sayenko, the Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers, according to the “Ukrainian News”.

“The Cabinet of Ministers appointed Troyan Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs,” he said.

Previously, Troyan served as acting Chief of the National Police of Ukraine.

It is noteworthy that Troyan fulfilled the duties of the Head of National Police since Khatia Dekanoidze resigned and up to today’s appointment of Serhiy Knyazev.

Vadym Troyan earlier applied to fill the position of National Police Chief through public competition, however he withdrew the documents after it turned out he did not have enough experience for the position.

As it was reported today, Serhiy Knyazev was appointed as the National Police head by the Cabinet of Ministers. The appointee earlier served as the Chief of Criminal Investigations Department.
