The UN Assistant Secretary-General for Human Rights, Ivan Simonovic, informed about systemic tortures of Ukraine’s State Security Service against adherents of Russian-backed militants in Donbas, The Times reports.

The UN report involves numerous incidents of illegal arrests, torture and hostilities against captives – both by Russian-backed militants and Ukraine’s authorities.
