Ukraine’s new U.S.-style police start patrols in Kryvyi Rih

The new police are already patrolling 26 cities in Ukraine

Western-styled patrol police took oath in Kryvyi Rih, informed ‘Pervyi Gorodskoi’ (‘First City Channel’).

“474 officers will patrol the streets of Kryvyi Rih”, - the agency reports.

Recruitment in Kryvyi Rih’s new patrol police started on October 22. Officers started trainings in February. There are 27 Masters and Candidates for Masters of Sport, 51 former law enforcement staff, 40 members of Anti-Terroristic Operation (ATO) in east Ukraine and 96 women among the new patrol police of Kryvyi Rih.

Stanislav Kolomyets – former ATO soldier – has been appointed Commander of the battalion.

Kryvyi Rih has become Ukraine’s 27th city, where the new patrol police has been introduced.
