Ukraine received 1.7 million tons of coal from occupied territories since year’s start

The flow of thermal coal supplies in 2016 amounted to 9.2 million tons, 6.8 million tons in 2015

Ukraine received 1.7 million tons of anthracite coal from the occupied Donetsk and Luhansk territories since the beginning of the year. This was reported by the press service of Ministry of Energy and Coal Mining to 112.UA. 

"From January to March 15, 2017, 1.7 million tons of grade A coal production were delivered," the Ministry informed.

It was also noted that the overall number of production supplied by coal industries from the occupied territories in 2016 amounted to 9.2 million tons, while in 2015 it was 6.8 million tons of power-generating coal.
