Ukraine is ready to become partners with Croatia on building the LNG-terminal. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman announced this at a briefing upon meeting with the Prime Minister of Croatia Andrey Plenkovyc.
"Croatia’s plans to build a new LNG-terminal coincide with our priorities. We are prepared to be Croatia’s partner in this project. And we are interested in diversification of gas supplies to Ukraine. This project is very interesting for us too so we would like it to be successfully implemented by Croatia. We have enough areas for cooperation. We see a 1.5 times increase in trade today. But if we look at the numbers, these numbers are unfortunately still very small, "- said Prime Minister of Ukraine.
Croatian LNG-terminal for liquefied gas transportation will be built on the Krk Island in the Adriatic Sea. Its estimated capacity will be from 4 to 6 billion cubic meters of gas per year.
Earlier it was reported that Croatia is ready to help Ukraine in the analysis of compliance of national legislation with the laws of the European Union and the reintegration of the temporarily occupied territories. The Prime Minister of Croatia, Andrej Plenkovic announced this during a meeting with the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman.
