State attorney assigned to Yanukovych Vitaliy Meshechek said that he would need time to get acquainted with and analyze the case.

As it was reported earlier, Yanukobych appealed to the Prosecutor's General Office to investigate the so-called “coup d’état” in Ukraine in 2014. However, this appeal will be considered within the current investigation on Euromaidan, and there will be no separate proceeding under Yanukovych’s appeal as he requested.
