Teachers’ salaries to grow by at least 25% starting next year, - Groysman

Ukrainian government is going to raise salaries for teachers by at least 25% starting from 2018. This was announced by Ukraine’s Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman on Tuesday on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel.

"We must ensure further increase in salaries for Ukrainian teachers. That’s why there will be an increase in the next year's budget, I believe, within 25% in 2018. This is what we have to fight for," he said.

As it was reported earlier education reform was adopted in the first reading on October 6 last year, since then the document has been finalized. The text was published in the second reading nn the eve of the end of the sixth session of the Verkhovna Rada, the draft law was even on the agenda for July 13, but it did not reach its turn.

it was also reported that Ukraine and Montenegro will cooperate in education, science. Ukrainian Parliament ratified agreement, with 230 MPs voting for the decision.
