Ukrainian State Property Fund lodged an appeal in cassation to the High Specialized Court of Ukraine for Civil and Criminal Case on May 13 against the verdict of Odesa Court of Appeal regarding forcible implementation of judgement by Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce on debt payment by "Odesa Port Plant" to Ostchem company, which is owned by Dmytro Firtash. This was reported by the fund’s press service to Interfax-Ukraine agency.

"The fund asks to accept its cassation and reverse the decision of Yuzhniy city court and Odesa court of appeal on the debt of Odesa Port Plant, and remit the case for new trial in the court of first instance," fund noted.

Dmytro Parfenenko, acting head of the fund, announced after the verdict by court of appeal on May 10 that it actually paves the way to bankruptcy of one of the most important core enterprises.
