A smoke bomb was thrown in session hall of Dnipro district council, reports local daily Dnipro. Golovne. The incident occurred after the decision to dismiss pre-term the head of the Shevchenkivska district council Mykola Sytnyk.
District council deputy Ihor Horb reported the details of the incident on his Facebook page.
The majority of deputies have expressed a wish to remove the head of the district council because of the "vague work" of the department under his control, according to him.
"In response to the removal the “radicals” invited militants to the district council and threw a bomb with gas," the deputy wrote, posting a video of the incident.
Judging from the video, the incident caused panic in the room, and the deputies who were present fled in different directions. After a short time the whole hall was full of smoke.
Earlier it was reported that protesters fought with police near concert hall Ukraina. A concert of a famous duet Potap and Nastya started with yobbish manners of the protesters. No casualties reported. Five people detained.
