The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine denied information about creation of some sort of “headquarters to respond to public actions” and noted that all security forces of Ukraine work on a regular basis. This was reported by the press service of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council.
“Pro-Russian media try to pose situation in Ukraine in order to destabilize according to tasks posed by their supervisors,” the message says.
It is noted that some Russian media spread information “about some mythic headquarters to respond to public actions” being created in Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council”.
The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine did not create any “headquarters” and all security forces of Ukraine work on a regular basis, according to regulations provided in the Constitution and Laws of Ukraine, the message announces.
Yesterday some media reported, citing its own sources about the alleged creation of the headquarters to respond to the public activities on the basis of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine allegedly headed by Olexandr Turchynov. Among measures of the "headquarters" there are: a restriction on public actions in Kyiv, the dispersal of meetings and arrests of its organizers.
Earlier it was reported that the National Police and the National Guard move to heightened alert regime of service from 14 November. Such innovations concern the Russian plan to destabilize situation in Ukraine. During 15-25 November streets in Kyiv may be closed, and also may be limited movement in connection with mass gatherings.
