Mil Mi-8 flew along the administrative border twice yesterday, without crossing it

Ukrainian border guards recorder two flights of Russian Mil Mi-8 helicopters along the border with the occupied Crimea yesterday, on February 9. This was reported by the assistant head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Oleg Slobodyan on Facebook page of the organization.

“During the day we recorded the flights of Russian Mil Mi-8 helicopters twice. They flew along the administrative border without crossing it,” he announced.

All the checkpoints in Donbas were functioning stably, there were no shelling of border guards or transport corridors, Slobodyan added.  Almost 15 700 people and 4 thousand cars have crossed the delimitative line during 24 hours yesterday. The administrative border with the annexed Crimea was crossed by 3,5 thousand people and 670 cars.

Earlier it was reported that three Turkish troops were killed by Russian air strike in Syria. Russian aircraft mistakenly destroyed the building with Turkish soldiers inside.
