Russian comedian Elena Vorobey denied entry to Ukraine

Russian comedian and actress Elena Vorobey was denied entry to Ukraine. She said this on her video in Instagram.

“I'm sitting in the airport in Kyiv. This is an unpleasant story, of course, - they did not let me out (from the airport, - ed.). It's a pity for Kyivans, the spectators who bought tickets and were going to watch a great comedy today, the premiere,” the actress said.

The actress apologized to the audience, who suffered from this situation, and added that "officials and authorities are one thing, and people are not to blame for anything."

State Border Guard Service said they banned entry for Elena Vorobey for three years, reports Interfax-Ukraine.

It is noted that such decision was taken because Russian artist visited the occupied Crimea with violations of Ukrainian law.

The premiere of the play with Elena Vorobey “Jackpot with home delivery” was supposed to take place in Kyiv on April 2.

Earlier it was reported that Russian designer Artemy Lebedev was banned entry to Ukraine. It is known that Lebedev was visiting occupied territories of Crimea and Donbas.
