Russia reacts on Ukraine’s suit for goods transit limit

Russian Federation will use legal means of protection in connection with the lawsuit, - Peskov

Russia will use legal means of protection provided by the international law in connection with the Ukraine’s lawsuit in World Trade Organization for limiting transit of goods to Asia through the territory of Russian Federation.  This was announced by the press secretary of Russian president Dmitry Peskov, reports RIA News.

“There are legal methods to protect interests of Russian Federation provided by the international law and they will be used in this case as well as in other similar cases,” Peskov said.

Earlier it was reported that Ukraine sued Russia in WTO for limiting transit of goods to Asia. Most of the country’s supplies to Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan suffered due to the partial ban by the Russian government, - Ministry for Economic Development.
