Rescuers find Kyiv tourist lost in Dragobrat area

Rescuers found a tourist from Kyiv in Zakarpattia region, who got lost in Dragobrat area. It was reported by the press service of Ukraine’s Emergency Service.

The Rescue Service 101 received report  that a 29 year-old resident of Kyiv got lost while skiing in poor visibility in the Hrehulets ravine of Rakhiv district on January 9 at 15:15.

Six rescuers of the Yasinyanskiy mountain search and rescue department were sent on a special purpose vehicle to find the lost person.

The workers of the Emergency Service found a man at 18:55 and brought him to the tourist camp in the Dragobrat valley where he was staying. Medical care was not needed.

Eralier it was reported that border guards rescued Czech citizen lost in mountains in Zakarpattia. The tourist explained that he was going to Slovakia, but strayed from the route.
