Protesters threw flares into Medvedchuk office, fire already extinguished

Windows in the building are shattered

Participants of the protest action, which arose after the national “viche” at the Maidan Square, threw burning flares at the office of Victor Medvedchuk, chairman of the pro-Russian political organization Ukrainian Choice, located in the heart of the capital on Velyka Vasylkivska Street. This was reported from the scene by the correspondent of "112 Ukraine" TV Channel.

It was also reported that the windows in the building were shattered. Firemen and law enforcement officers are working at the scene.

"Flares and smoke bombs were thrown in the room. Office building is on fire. Activists are trying to extinguish the fire now. Most of the participants left the scene. Fire truck is coming here now, they approach the building with fire extinguishers,” the correspondent said.


By now, the fire was eliminated, as reported by “112 Ukraine” TV Channel. Activists have left the place.
