Protesters broke windows of Sberbank building in the center of Kyiv

The incident occurred in a bank, formerly known as Sberbank of Russia on Lev Tolstoy square

Protesters in the center of Kiev broke windows in the building of SberBank (formerly "Sberbank of Russia") in the Lev Tolstoy square Interfax reports.

It is reported that, in parallel with the events near the building on Velyka Vasylkivska street,  which is allegedly the leader of the public organization Ukrainian choice and the Special Representative of Ukraine in the subgroup of Humanitarian Affairs of the Trilateral contact group Viktor Medvedchuk’s office is , the protesters went to the building of the bank and smashed windows in it.

After this event, law enforcement officers intervened, protesters were fenced off from the entrance to the building  of the bank.

Earlier there were clashes between law enforcement officers and National “viche” participants on Maidan Nezalezhnosti. The Day of Dignity and Freedom was celebrated on the main square of the capital.
