The Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine admits they have to investigate the “coup d’état” in Ukraine. They are to investigate a number of high-ranking officials, says Vitaliy Serdiuk, referring to General Prosecutor’s response to Yanukovich’s claim, as press service of law firm Aver Lex informs.

Vitaliy Serdiuk, Yanukovych’s lawyer, says that the Prosecutor General’s Office is to investigate individuals involved in criminal case of 16.02.2014 № 12014100100001455 (concerning murder and murder attempts on law enforcement officials in February 2014).

He added that Yanukovych’s defence continues to follow the proceedings closely.

As it was reported earlier, the Prosecutor General’s Office is to open investigation on Yanukovych’s request.
