Russia changes its tactics both in Kremlin and in eastern Ukraine. This was stated by the Prseident of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko during the Kyiv Security Forum on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel.
“Russia changes its tactics in Kremlin and in eastern Ukraine. It creates quasi-states and pursues a completely unconstructive position. Its key purpose is to destabilize Ukraine, to increase repressions in Crimea in order to silence the dissidents. Moscow wants to set Poland against Ukraine. Everything started with burning of the Ukrainian flag near Ukrainian monuments in Poland. Later similar scenarios were realized in Ukraine,” Poroshenko said.
The Kremlin is preparing for the presidential elections in 2018 and is becoming more and more aggressive, the President noted.
Earlier it was reported that Russia gathered 18 thousand soldiers and hardware at Ukrainian border. Russian Federation brought tanks and artillery systems, - Defense Ministry of Ukraine.
