Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko announced the development of the new armament, namely 57 mm rockets for Ukrainian air force. He wrote this on his Facebook page.

“Ukroboronprom” has developed a new weapon for the Air Force of Ukraine. 57 mm rockets are intended for hitting ground targets. Good job, guys!” Poroshenko wrote.

“Aircrew of the helicopter, which is by the way fitted with new engines as well as “Adros” electro optical countermeasures installation, hit the predetermined targets during successful tests. It just takes half a second to launch the whole block of 20 missiles,” Poroshenko noted.

As it was reported by 112.International earlier, the State Research and Test Center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine began testing of a domestic UAV Leleka-100 at the airfield near Chernihiv.
