President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko predicts finding a mutually acceptable compromise between Ukraine and Netherlands to ratify the association and free trade zone agreement with the EU. He said this in his speech on the occasion of the Day of dignity and freedom.

"My talks with leaders and institutions of the European Union Member States also give grounds to believe that a mutually acceptable compromise between Ukraine, the EU and the Netherlands will be found, and ratification of the Association and free trade zone agreement will be completed," the President said.

Petro Poroshenko also emphasized in his speech that Ukrainian economy has been reanimated and shows significant signs of recovery.

"Our economic system has already been reanimated and shows signs of recovery after fourteen consecutive quarters of falling, which, by the way, began a year before the revolution and the war, the economy finally started growing again." President said.

President also said a few words about the IMF. "The International Monetary Fund support has been critically important for us. A Fund never prescribes a sweet medicine. Therefore, I understand that we did inadvertently hurt millions of families. I do apologize for it. But I am sure that more and more people will feel the effectiveness of the measures soon," the president said.
