Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has urged responsible departments to step up work on the creation of a modern system for the rehabilitation of ATO veterans. He said this during the speech on the occasion of the Day of Medical Worker, according to presidential press service.

“Every country that faced aggression knows what it is. Let us intensify our efforts to establish a modern efficient rehabilitation system for ATO veterans. We can rely on the support of our NATO partners – we have reached respective agreements, so I can confirm you that,” he noted.

The Head of State noted that the prompt establishment of a new system of medical aid for the warriors who defend Ukraine from Russian aggression is a convincing indicator of the potential of the Ukrainian medicine.

The Head of State also stressed that the medical system requires urgent reform. However, several important steps in this issue have already been made: registration of drugs registered in the EU and G7 countries has been abolished. “This is a resolute step to overcome corruption and bureaucracy,” the President emphasized.
