Polish Prosecutor's Office opened a case on the fact of the burning of the Ukrainian flag in Warsaw during the Independence March on November 11. This was announced by press secretary of the Regional Prosecutor's Office Warsaw-Prague in Warsaw Lukash Lapchinsky, reports the Polish agency PAP.
"The case is opened. We will investigate whether there was a criminal offense, and whether or not the Ukrainian flag was destroyed," he said.
Judging from the evidence we collected earlier it is not clear whether it really was the flag of Ukraine that was burned, Lapchinsky also noted.
Earlier it was reported that so-called nationalists burned Ukrainian flag during Independence March in Warsaw.
