OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media Harlem Désir called on Ukraine not to arrest or deport journalists from OSCE member countries, as the OSCE media freedom informed on Twitter.

As it was reported earlier, Russian jpurnalist Anna Kurbatova was deported from Ukraine today. In her last stories, Kurbatova claimed that Ukraine is trying to keep up appearance of a progressive European country, while in fact infringing the freedom of speech.

The journalist used the example of deporting two Spanish journalists, who, according to her, “covered the Donas conflict from both sides”. In fact, they shared misinformation about the Ukrainian Army actions, including spreading lies about the bombarding of Pervomaisk and flooding of the mines in Donbas.
