Detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) under the leadership of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) have detained the former strategy and marketing deputy director of "Electrotyazhmash". This was reported by the press service of NABU.

During pre-trial investigation, the detectives of NABU exposed the scheme, according to which the officials of the State Enterprise "Plant" Electrotyazhmash" by prior agreement with the leaders of two false companies in the period of 2014-2015 sold engine at the actual net cost ($ 54 000), followed by its resale at the market price to the Republic of Kazakhstan - for more than $ 3 million.

As a result of the criminal action, the state enterprise suffered losses in the amount of $ 1.5 million, which resulted in serious consequences for the public interest.

Pre-trial investigation is pending, the measures are taken to determine other possible accomplices.
