The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) confirmed that videoconference with the wanted people's deputy of Ukraine Oleksandr Onyshchenko is scheduled for Thursday, December 22, the "Interfax-Ukraine" agency reported.
"In the context of "Onyshchenko’s recordings," NABU press service said.
The Bureau emphasized that the interrogation of People's Deputy was planned according to Part 11 Art. 232 of the Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine (interrogation of a person through telephone or video conference, if a person, for whatever reason, can not arrive in time to the investigator or prosecutor due to difficulties; if necessary, testimony is taken from the person by the investigator or prosecutor who conducts the interrogation).
At the same time, deputy head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) Volodymyr Kryvenko has not confirmed this information and said it was being checked.
