Oleh Bereziuk, the Chair of the Parliamentary faction Samopomich Union, announced that he and the people’s deputy Taras Pastukh are ending hunger strike and going to Lviv, where the veche will take place tomorrow. Particularly, Bereziuk told this during the conversation with journalists near Presidential Administration, broadcast by 112 Ukraine TV channel.
"Today me and Taras (Pastukh — 112.International) are suspending this no easy path. We are starting the path from power to our homes," he noted.
He explained such decision with the fact that they will be more useful in Lviv, where "viche" will be held on Sunday, June 25.
"I am calling on Lviv residents to go out, take to the streets at the veche to express the protest, and we should protect the place which saves our home — Ukraine, where we all want to live," he said.
Speaking about his participation in tomorrow’s rally Bereziuk stressed that this would depend from the decision of Lviv doctors who will be examining him.
According to Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi, the veche will start at 2 p.m. on Sunday at the Market Square.
