Vitali Klitschko confirmed that more than 20 thousand guests from all over the world visited Kyiv during Eurovision 2017. Kyiv Mayor said this on Saturday.
"More than 20 thousand foreign guests came to Kyiv, more than 40 thousand guests visited the capital from different Ukrainian cities," Klitschko announced during the press conference.
According to him, the organizers sold more than 60 thousand tickets to all concerts of the song contest.
As it was reported, Petro Poroshenko was planning to come to the final Eurovision show. However, he cancelled his visit after 4 people were killed in enemy shelling of Avdiivka on Saturday evening.
As it is known, Portuguese singer, Salvador Sobral, became the winner of this year's contest with his song "Amar Pelos Dois".
