"Dry statistics shows that as a result of political repressions more than 500 000 Ukrainians were killed. Many of them went through Stalinist camps, Siberian colonies, were badly tortured! Everything what happened in Soviet Union that time, today is taking place in Russia where political torturing became a normal life, as well as in occupied territories of Ukraine in Crimea. Just as 72 years ago the genocide of Crimean Tatars repeats in Crimea", - Turchynov stated.

We recall that Bykovnyanske burial place is considered to be the largest on the territory of Ukraine. During 1937-1941 a huge vehicle brought each and every day killed bodies shooted in Kyiv jails by NKVD and secretly buried them in Bykovnyanskyy forest. The ultimate peace has found, according to different statistics, from 10 till 100 thousand people. Among them are writers Mykhailo Semenko, Myke Johhansen, painter Mykhailo Boichuk and others.
