Rynok Square is shrouded in smoke as protesters throw smoke bombs

Residents of Lviv city protest near the city council on Thursday against actions of Mayor Andry Sadovy and demand his resignation. They also want fired the head of communal property department. Lviv locals are discontent over the situation with the situation with garbage disposal, reports Depo.Lviv.

“Protesters burn smoke bombs on Rynok Square near Lviv City Council,” the message says.

City residents in particular demand resignation of the head of communal property department of Lviv council.

According to the agency, at the moment of smoke spread the council session hasn’t yet started.

On the photos you can see that the territory near Lviv city council is shrouded in smoke, the activists are holding posters reading: “Land Terror of Sadovy,” “Sadovy’s Genocide”.

At the same time, the protesters are chanting their demands.

As it was reported earlier Lviv administration will take on garbage problem. Andriy Sadovy called the proposition to allocate money from city budget a 'ransom'.
