Kyiv to limit alcohol sale during Eurovision

Alcohol will not be sold in the area of Khreshchatyk and the International Exhibition Center

Kyiv will limit the sale of alcoholic and low alcoholic beverages during the Eurovision, except beer in plastic plastic packaging, in certain territories of the city. This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv city council.

The deputies supported such proposition of the police at the meeting of permanent commission on trade, business and regulatory policy of Kyiv City Council.

The restrictions will be active on May 4 - 15 on the territory adjoining to Euro-town (Khreshchatyk), and on May 8 - 13 on territory around the International Exhibition Center.

Earlier it was reported that police asked Kyiv City State Administration to introduce "non-alcohol policy" during Eurovision. They offer to limit sale of alcohol at "Eurotown" (Khreshchatyk) and near International Exhibition Centre.
