Klimkin’s visit to Israel is related to meeting between prime ministers

Visit of Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs was preceded by the phone conversation between Petro Poroshenko and Benjamin Netanyahu

Deputy Head of Presidential Administration confirmed the visit of Pavlo Klimkin, Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affrairs, to Israel. As it was reported by Kostiantyn Yelisieiev during the briefing, Klimkin’s visit was directed at improving partnership between countries.

“Pavlo Klimkin has indeed visited Israel, and it is related to the fact that we are trying to improve partnership with the country, that is very important to us,” Kostiantyn Yelisieiev reported during the briefing.

“It was agreed that the long-awaited visit of Ukrainian Prime Minister to Israel will take place in the near future, and we are currently coordinating the terms of this visit through our diplomatic channels,” Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration added.

He also noted that the visit of Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs was preceded by the phone conversation between Petro Poroshenko and Benjamin Netanyahu.

Kostiantyn Yelisieiev added that other issues will also be discussed during the visit. “We are discussing the issue of strengthening political component and, certainly economic cooperation in other spheres,” Yelisieiev added.
