International Court of Justice of the United Nations will make the next decision on ‘Ukraine vs Russia’ case on May 12.
This was reported by the Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Olena Zerkal, according to the press service of Petro Poroshenko.
“We will meet again in Hague on May 12 and the president of the court will decide on further consideration of the case,” she said.
UN court will decide how the case will progress and how much time will be given to Ukraine to prepare the main memorandum, as well as “where Ukraine should present all the evidence in detail, including the subjective side of the case,” according to Zerkal.
Earlier it was reported that ICJ recognizes Russia as side, not intermediary of Minsk process, according to Poroshenko. The final decision of the International Court of Justice will be a decision of direct action and will not require any additional voting by either the UN General Assembly or the UN Security Council.
