Former State Duma deputy of the Communist Party of Russian Federation Denis Voronenkov who moved to Ukraine together with his wife Mariya Maksakova, ex-deputy of United Russia political party received Ukraine’s citizenship, reports Censor.net.

“My State Duma deputy mandate has ended and I became Ukrainian citizen on December 6,” Voronenkov said.

Besides, Voronenkov confirmed reported earlier information that he has testified on ex-President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych in the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine.

Earlier it was reported that Yanukovych will be tried in February if lawyers don’t delay treason case. If they do, Kravchenko refuses to predict terms of bringing indictment to court.
