Explosion occurred in a private one-story house in Odesa with the subsequent ignition. It was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

According to the report, the explosion occurred at night around 0:50 a.m.

"As a result of the explosion and destruction of building structures, 2 people died. State Emergency Service workers rescued an elderly woman from the rubble," the report says.

Fire area of 50 square meters was extinguished at about 2 a.m. The blast destroyed most of the house with an area of about 70 square meters.

The cause of the explosion is being established.

It is noteworthy that the village in which the explosion took place has not yet been specified by the State Security Service of Ukraine.
