European Parliament to cooperate with Verkhovna Rada till 2019, - Brok

European Parliament prolonged cooperation with the Ukrainian Parliament Verkhovna Rada till 2019. This was announced by the former head of the European Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee during the briefing on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel.

“On behalf of the European Parliament and its president, I convey the confirmation that the European Parliament supported the continuation of cooperation with the Ukrainian parliament for the entire term of the current European Parliament until 2019, and I want to pass this memorandum. The more Ukraine follows the path of democracy and develops the rule of law, the more it will strengthen and show the prospects to the EU countries,” Brok said.

From his part, Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy thanked for the cooperation.

Earlier it was reported that EP head wants to visit Ukraine ASAP, according to Brok. This was stated in the letter addressed to Verkhovna Rada Speaker Andriy Parubiy.
