They descended into the subway under police cover and left

Equality March participants have left the center of Kyiv. At the same time, opponents of the march continue clashing with police. Some people were detained.

March participants descended into Ploshcha Lva Tolstoho metro station under police cover and left Kyiv center.

Meanwhile, clashes took place near the Red University Building between the opponents of LGBT march and police. Three people were apprehended. Police tries to transport the detainees, but protesters are making efforts to surround police.

Earlier enemies of the march were trying to breach police’s ring and get to the march participants. Firecracker exploded, but nobody was injured. Police were protecting the activists all the way.

It is noteworthy that law enforcement officers seized balaclavas and gas cartridges from some people.
